Amy Casey has exhibited her work regionally and nationally with solo shows in Cleveland, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Provincetown, Homer Alaska and Los Angeles. Drawing on the places around her and sweaty anxiety dreams, Casey creates and reorders impossible cities in her paintings. Ms. Casey has been awarded a Creative Impact Fund Award,  four Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Awards, the Cleveland Arts Prize as an emerging artist and a grant through CPAC's Creative Workforce Fellowship program.  She has attended various residencies, including Arteles in Finland, The Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico, The Vermont Studio Center and The Bunnell Street Arts Center in Homer, Alaska.Ms Casey is one of the resident artists at Zygote Press in Cleveland and is represented by Zg Gallery in Chicago.  Currently residing in a little crooked blue house in Cleveland, Ms Casey spends most of her time painting, printmaking and squeezing cats.
